These Terms & Conditions explain how the Sellier Sport website, saddle listing service, independent saddle fitter network and saddle fitting services operate.
Sellier Sport is operated by Shelley Harris, trading as Sellier Sport, a sole trader.

By using this website or contacting Sellier Sport through it, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About Sellier Sport
Sellier Sport is an independent saddle fitting, education and saddle-listing platform.
The website provides:
educational information about saddles, saddle fitting, horses and related subjects;
listings for saddles offered by independent saddle fitters and other approved sellers;
information about independent saddle fitters;
facilities for customers to make saddle enquiries or request help finding a saddle; and
information about saddle fitting services provided directly by Shelley Harris / Sellier Sport.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, Sellier Sport does not sell the saddles listed by independent fitters or sellers and does not process payment for those saddles.
2. Saddles Listed on Sellier Sport
Saddles shown on Sellier Sport may be owned and offered for sale by independent saddle fitters or sellers.
When you enquire about or decide to purchase one of these saddles, the sale is arranged directly between you and the relevant fitter or seller.
Sellier Sport may introduce you to that fitter or seller and provide information about the saddle, but Sellier Sport is not normally a party to the resulting sales contract.
The fitter or seller is responsible for confirming:
the final selling price;
payment arrangements;
delivery or collection;
any trial period offered;
returns;
refunds;
product condition; and
any additional terms applying to the sale.
You should confirm these arrangements directly with the fitter or seller before purchasing.
3. Fees Paid to Sellier Sport by Fitters and Sellers
Independent saddle fitters or sellers may participate in Sellier Sport under different commercial arrangements.
Some may pay Sellier Sport a membership fee. Others may participate under a commission-based arrangement under which Sellier Sport receives a fee or commission if a saddle is sold.
These commercial arrangements do not increase the customer’s contractual rights against Sellier Sport and do not normally make Sellier Sport the seller of the saddle.
4. Saddle Information
We aim to ensure saddle listings are clear and accurate.
However, much of the information relating to independently listed saddles is supplied by the relevant fitter or seller.
Photographs, measurements, manufacturer information, model identification and descriptions are intended to help customers make informed enquiries but should not be treated as a guarantee that a particular saddle will fit a particular horse or rider.
Used saddles may show signs of previous use and may vary in condition.
Customers should ask the seller for any additional information they require before agreeing to purchase.
5. Saddle Fit
A saddle being listed on Sellier Sport does not mean that it will be suitable for your horse or rider.
Saddle fit depends on many factors including horse shape, musculature, condition, movement, rider requirements, saddle construction and changes over time.
Where appropriate, customers should have a saddle assessed by a suitably qualified or experienced saddle fitter.
Any saddle measurements, descriptions, educational information or general observations published by Sellier Sport should not be treated as a substitute for an individual saddle-fitting assessment.
6. Independent Saddle Fitters
Sellier Sport may provide information about independent saddle fitters and may help customers find or contact them.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, these fitters operate as independent businesses and are not employees, agents or representatives of Sellier Sport.
Any fitting appointment or other service supplied by an independent fitter is contracted directly between the customer and that fitter.
The individual fitter is responsible for:
the advice and services they provide;
their charges;
appointments;
cancellation arrangements;
insurance;
professional conduct; and
resolving complaints relating to their own services.
Sellier Sport will take reasonable care with how fitter information is presented and with any checks or membership requirements that Sellier Sport states it carries out. We will not claim that a fitter has been checked, approved or verified in a particular way unless that process has actually taken place.
7. Sellier Sport Saddle Fitting Services
Shelley Harris also provides saddle fitting services directly through Sellier Sport.
These services are separate from services supplied by independent fitters listed on the website.
Appointments are arranged directly with Sellier Sport and are currently paid for separately rather than through the website checkout.
The scope, location, price and any other relevant arrangements will be confirmed when the appointment is booked.
8. Cancellation of Sellier Sport Saddle Fitting Appointments
Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a saddle fitting appointment provided directly by Sellier Sport.
Where less than 48 hours’ notice is given, Sellier Sport may make a reasonable cancellation charge where a financial loss or cost has been incurred as a result of the cancellation.
Any cancellation charge will be proportionate to the circumstances and will not affect any statutory cancellation or consumer rights that apply.
Where Sellier Sport needs to cancel or rearrange an appointment, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.
9. Educational Content
The Sellier Sport website contains educational articles, guides, illustrations, opinions and other information relating to saddles, horses, saddle fitting and equestrian subjects.
This information is provided for general educational purposes.
It is intended to help horse owners understand saddle design and fitting principles and to have better-informed conversations with appropriate professionals.
It is not a diagnosis of a particular horse, rider or saddle and should not replace veterinary, veterinary physiotherapy, saddlery, saddle fitting or other professional advice where such advice is required.
10. Brand Information and Opinions
Sellier Sport is independent and is not tied to a particular saddle manufacturer unless clearly stated.
References to saddle manufacturers, models, construction methods and design characteristics are provided for educational and informational purposes.
Editorial opinions represent Sellier Sport’s professional assessment and experience.
Trade marks and brand names remain the property of their respective owners.
Unless specifically stated, inclusion of a brand on Sellier Sport does not imply sponsorship, endorsement or commercial affiliation.
11. Request a Saddle
The Request a Saddle service allows customers to tell Sellier Sport what they are looking for.
Sellier Sport may circulate or match that request with suitable independent fitters or sellers within its network.
Submitting a request:
does not guarantee that a suitable saddle will be found;
does not create an obligation to purchase;
does not guarantee that any suggested saddle will fit; and
does not create a sales contract with Sellier Sport.
Any eventual purchase is subject to the terms agreed directly with the relevant seller.
12. Prices
Prices displayed alongside independently listed saddles are intended as information supplied for the relevant listing.
The seller should confirm the final price before any sale is agreed.
Unless Sellier Sport is expressly identified as the seller, payment for a saddle should be made directly to the independent fitter or seller using the arrangements agreed with them.
13. Website Availability
We aim to keep the Sellier Sport website available and accurate, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
We may update, remove or change listings, educational material, features or other website content when necessary.
Saddles may be sold or withdrawn before the website is updated.
14. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the written content, original graphics, photographs created by Sellier Sport, educational material, branding and website content produced by Sellier Sport are owned by or licensed to Sellier Sport.
Content may not be reproduced, republished or commercially distributed without permission, except where permitted by law.
15. Third-Party Content and Links
The website may contain links to independent fitters, sellers, manufacturers or other third-party websites.
Sellier Sport is not responsible for the content, availability, privacy practices or terms of third-party websites.
Following a link does not necessarily mean Sellier Sport endorses every statement, product or service available on that website.
16. Complaints
If your complaint concerns a saddle purchased from an independent fitter or seller, you should normally contact that seller first because your purchase contract is with them.
If your complaint concerns a service supplied by an independent saddle fitter, you should normally raise the matter directly with that fitter.
If your complaint concerns:
Sellier Sport’s website;
information published by Sellier Sport;
the operation of the Sellier Sport network;
Sellier Sport’s own saddle fitting service; or
the conduct of a fitter listed through Sellier Sport,

We will consider concerns raised about fitters or sellers using the platform and may review, suspend or remove listings or participation where appropriate.
17. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
Sellier Sport is responsible for services that Sellier Sport itself agrees to provide and will provide those services with the standard of care required by applicable law.
Where a saddle, product or service is supplied by an independent third party, that third party remains responsible for fulfilling its own contractual and legal obligations.
Sellier Sport cannot guarantee that a particular saddle will fit a particular horse or rider merely because it has been listed, discussed or identified through the website.
18. Privacy
Personal information supplied through Sellier Sport will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Where necessary to fulfil a saddle request or introduction, information may be shared with an appropriate independent fitter or seller. Our Privacy Policy will explain how and why personal information is processed.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Sellier Sport service, applicable law or our business model.
The current version will always be published on this website together with the date it was last updated.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you retain any legal rights regarding where proceedings may be brought under applicable consumer law.
